Education through Connection

Hi, I'm Amber! Homeschooling was never my plan. My son was born prematurely and later diagnosed on the autism spectrum. When it was time for him to enter Kindergarten, I didn't feel like he was ready. At the recommendation of my husband, I looked into homeschooling. I thought it might be a crazy idea, but I took the leap. Turns out, it was a crazy idea! The best kind of crazy with the highs and lows that can only be experienced through homeschool. It's been an incredible journey. I am in my fifth year of homeschool. My favorite concepts about homeschool are development through spending quality time together and helping my children discover their unique interests.
